Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access or use PermitPilot. By using the service, you agree to them.
What PermitPilot provides
PermitPilot organizes public permit information and offers reminders intended to help homeowners follow a permit. The service is informational. It is not legal, architectural, engineering, financial, or permitting advice.
Public records and accuracy
Permit information comes from third-party public records. Records can be delayed, incomplete, changed, or unavailable. PermitPilot does not guarantee that information, timelines, recommendations, notifications, or cost estimates are complete or accurate. Confirm important information with the city and your project professionals.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and protecting access to your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account is being used without permission.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse PermitPilot, interfere with its operation, bypass rate limits or security controls, access another user's account, or use automated tools to overload or extract data from the service. We may restrict access when necessary to protect PermitPilot or others.
Availability and future features
PermitPilot is currently offered free of charge. We may add optional paid features in the future. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, jurisdictions, or the service. SMS notifications are coming soon and are not currently provided.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
PermitPilot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, PermitPilot and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions made using the service.
Termination
You may stop using PermitPilot at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms, security concerns, or operational reasons.
Governing law and contact
Washington law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions can be sent to support@buildeastside.com.
