Ready to Issue
Your Bellevue permit is Ready to Issue. What now?
Ready to Issue is good news. The plan reviews are generally complete, but the permit is not issued yet. There are usually a few owner-side details to finish.
Check outstanding fees
Open the official permit record and look for unpaid issuance or permit fees. Payment may be required before the city can issue the permit.
Check contractor information
Bellevue may require contractor information, including the applicable Washington contractor license and city business-license details, before issuance. Confirm the exact requirement on your record or with the permit center.
If everything is complete
Sometimes the required items are present but the permit still does not move. Contact the city and ask whether anything else is needed to issue it. Keep the permit number in the subject line so the request is easy to route.
Do not start work too early
Ready to Issue is not the same as Issued. Wait until the official permit status confirms issuance and follow any inspection or posting requirements for the project.
