Kirkland corrections
How Kirkland permit corrections and revisions work
Kirkland's review activity uses version labels such as V1, V2, and V3. Corrections Needed shifts the next action to the applicant; a later Under Review entry shows that a response is back with the city.
Reviewed against official Kirkland sources · August 2026Pre-issuance review versions
V1 is the first review. V2 and V3 usually follow revised submissions. Departments can approve in different versions, so focus on the latest row for each discipline.
Respond as one coordinated team
- Create a comment-response matrix.
- Assign each comment to the architect, engineer, arborist, civil consultant, or owner.
- Update every affected drawing and calculation.
- Cross-check that one response does not contradict another discipline.
- Record the actual upload date.
Post-issuance revisions reset labels
A post-issuance change can appear as V1 again. Use the notes, assignment date, and overall Revision in Review status to distinguish it from the original first review.
